Maanteemuuseum
Interactive game/exhibit
Driving game that focuses on the reaction speed of the user with distractions. User drives along the road and has to brake for various obstacles in the way. The controlling is done through a wheel and pedals and the exhibit is accompanied by a small touch screen that mimics a phone which distracts the user by calling and sending text messages.
The project consisted of programming the game, connecting it with a physical wheel and an android based tablet, making an appealing visual style for the driving game and doing the UI design for the main game and the tablet that mimics a phone as a distraction.
Interactive Exhibits
Created for various museums
Various exhibits that I've created for either Android tablets or Windows computers. Made with Unity and feature a simple way to update all the text via local files. The text in all languages is managed by a Google Docs sheet that can be saved as an Excel sheet to manage the text locally.
Every exhibit was made with cooperation with the clients and designers to ensure everything was easily accessible and understandable by a wide range of age groups.
Fractal Canvas
Generative art event decoration
Large scale art piece (13x5 meters) that was made by rendering multiple fractals with Apophysis.
The base of the image was rendered in 20 hours with half the resolution, then I created a couple of smaller fractals, combined them in Photoshop, tweaked the colors and combined everything together. The most difficult part was the sheer scale of the final image, since for it to have a decent printing quality the final image had to be at least 52000x20000 pixels in size. After the final image was created, it was upscaled using an AI upscaler with a learning model based on animations. After experimenting with multiple models, the animation one gave the most interesting results.
Afterward the files were sent to Ukraine where they printed it using special UV reactive ink. The canvas was then brought back to Estonia and every slice (ten 1,3x5 meter strips) had Velcro strips sewn to the sides for easy assembly.
Quarter resolution image can be found here.

Danger Island
Various 3D works
Danger Island was an ambitious project to create a full feature movie in 3D. I helped out with various parts for the promotional trailer, helped with the water, small animations, lighting, cloud simulations, various shaders for props and a custom thunder module so it can be animated and moved around.
EDI Robotics
3D animation
This project includes rigging the model, making the animations and rendering the video. Every movable part is rigged and can be manipulated independently. The biggest issue was making sure the loop was seamless. Afterwards everything was combined in After Effects and the text was added.
Liviko Interactive Museum
Exhibition design
After multiple meetings and unsuccessful tenders, this project was brought to us (at Motor) at the last minute. We only had two months to completely redesign how the room looked, how the visitors would move along and how to make the most of the little space.
I transferred the room into 3D, and with cooperation of architects and designers we created a cozy new look for the place while still retaining the original exhibits that were already half-built. While the deadline was tight, everyone worked together and the project achieved a bronze place at Estonian Design awards.

MUSEKO PINBALL MACHINE
INTERACTIVE GAME
The idea for this project was to show how to integrate physical and digital media. The digital part is controlled by physical buttons and when a bonus area is reached, the game continues in the physical part on the top.
